New Zealand cancels Bracewell's leave, returns him to Test squad

News Dex :-

Rishabh Pant suffered another injury blow during the ongoing Test series against England as he was hit on his ankle while batting against Chris Woakes in the 68th over of the first day's play at Old Trafford. The wicketkeeper-batsman tried a 'glamourous shot' against Woakes. The ball hit his right ankle after making a contact with his bat. England reviewed the decision, which turned out to be not out. But the impact of the blow was such that the batsman was even struggling to stand.  https://www.profitableratecpm.com/qt4yfkpt?key=a6e2128731bc1451dc6459474abf11b6

There was a swelling on his right foot. He quickly retired out after the blow and was taken off the field. It remains to be seen if Rishabh will be able to bat when he is fit. Ravindra Jadeja replaced him in the middle.
Rishabh suffered a blow to his finger in the third Test. While he was fit to bat, he only kept wickets for 35 overs in the previous game. Rishabh recovered from the finger injury before the fourth Test and was set to keep wickets. But he might not be able to do the wicketkeeping job now.
