Thomas Frank admitted Tottenham were well below their best in Thursday's 4-0 defeat by Bayern Munich — and suggested a lack of energy was at the heart of the problem.
But the Spurs boss insisted his side will be fully prepared to face Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Super Cup next week.
The defeat in Munich was Frank's first since taking charge earlier this summer, and came just six days before his team take on the reigning European champions in Udine.
Tottenham trailed 1-0 at half-time before being overrun in the second half, as Bayern mixed senior stars with a wave of talented academy players.
